We had a fabulous trip, starting with a fun journey by boat from Roa
Island to Piel.
On arrival we had a tour of the island to refresh our memories of our previous visit, two years ago.
The four groups then split and went off to set up their treasure hunts, using the school iPads.
Lunch was served in the pub at 12.30...it wasn't too much like a chimps tea party!
After swapping IPads we each tried to follow the photo clues to locate the hidden treasures, finishing with the final treasure of Haribos!
A play on the beach, making pebble and shell sculptures, before time was sadly up and we had to return to the jetty for the journey home.
Happy memories. I hope you find time in the Summer hols to head to the island as a family. It is a cheap, local day out with simple pleasures and some good pub food. You could even take a tent and camp!
